Mazda Philippines Sells 3 Mazda3 Per Day Since Its Launch
The 2020 Mazda3 is off to a scorching start. Seven weeks since its official Philippine launch, Mazda Philippines has revealed that they’re almost out of stock thanks to the strong reception by Filipino buyers (read our first impressions).
More than 150 units have already been delivered to customers—that’s approximately 3 units sold every single day since its debut, and with that, the initial shipment’s close to being sold out.
This retail sales figure is on top of the 51 units pending delivery due to the combination of bank approvals and vehicle mix availability.
The most popular model is, without question, the Mazda3 2.0 Premium Sportback. However, the top-trim Mazda3 2.0 Speed Sportback has also proven to be very popular. Sales of this variant is so strong that it necessitated shipping the body kits by air freight from Japan just to meet demand.
Moreover, Mazda Philippines is also enjoying very strong leads and inquiries as well as dealership walk-ins for the all-new Mazda3. To date, there have been more than 3,200 strong leads generated through various marketing efforts.
Despite its strong performance, Steven Tan, President of Bermaz Auto Philippines (Mazda Philippines) has assured the public of adequate Mazda3 supply, “Arrival and dealer inventory is sufficient to meet demand for the rest of the month. Meanwhile, Japan has responded positively to our request to add more production to meet the good demand on the new Mazda3.”
