Kia Philippines Brings Back K-Series Van

Now under the stewardship of Ayala Automotive Group, Kia Philippines re-introduces the K2500—their ever-reliable commercial vehicle now powered by a Euro-4 compliant CRDi engine.

From the familiar K-Series, the Kia K2500 has heeded the call for a more effective means of transport. Since its introduction, it has proven itself for its capability and versatility making it a choice for the government, NGOs, SMEs, and large corporations.

For 2019, Kia is introducing the Karga—a powerful and affordable 18-seater commercial vehicle built from the K2500.

The K2500 Karga is powered by a 2.5-liter CRDi engine mated to a 6-speed manual. With this configuration, it produces a maximum output of 130 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque.

For those who want a purely cargo solution, the K2500 comes in both Cab & Chassis and Closed Van layouts, both boasting a maximum payload of 835 kilograms. Furthermore, it comes in both 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains (the latter will be rolled out late 2019).

And unlike other commercial vehicles, the K2500 comes with a 3-year, 110,000-kilometer warranty.

The 2019 Kia K2500 starts P 810,000 for the Cab & Chassis layout, P 910,000 for the Closed Van, and P 998,000 for the Karga. The introductory prices are effective until June 30, 2019.
