Ford is Discounting the EcoSport by as Much as P 130k, Ranger by P 100k

Ford Philippines is offering cash discounts on pretty much their entire line-up sans the Ranger Raptor and Mustang from now until March 31, 2020. This gives customers more deals for a longer period of time.

Get as much as P 100,000 cash discount on the Ranger 2.0L Bi-Turbo Wildtrak 4x4. Customers who prefer to avail of this variant on a financing promo can also take advantage of the 0 percent interest offer for up to 18 months. Meanwhile, the Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4x2 variants come with a cash discount of P 70,000 or with a financing promo of 0 percent interest offer for up to 12 months.

As part of its efforts to expand ownership of the Ford Ranger, Ford Philippines continues to offer the Ranger 2.2L XLS at a starting retail price of P 943,000.

For those eyeing Ford’s SUV line-up, the EcoSport 1.5L Trend MT comes with a cash discount of P 130,000, bringing its starting retail price to just P 840,000 while the EcoSport 1.5L Trend AT also comes with a hefty P 130,000 cash discount, bringing its starting retail price to P 900,000. Even the  EcoSport 1.0L Titanium and 1.5L Titanium variants now come with a P 65,000 cash discount.

Meanwhile, the Ford Explorer 3.5L Sport AT and Ford Expedition 4x4 Limited EL both come with a P 200,000 cash discount.

Even the Everest 2.0L Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4x4 AT and Everest 2.0L Turbo Titanium 4x2 AT both come with a P 50,000 discount, while the recently-launched Transit van comes with a P 100,000 cash discount (until February 28, 2020 only).

Get the Ford Explorer 3.5L EcoBoost Sport at the Price of the 2.3L EcoBoost This Christmas

Ford Philippines is offering the Ford Explorer 3.5L EcoBoost Sport AWD at the price of 2.3L EcoBoost FWD for a limited time this Christmas season.

Customers availing of the top-of-the-line Explorer variant can get an additional cash discount of P 280,000 on top of the existing P 100,000 Gigantic Deal discount, bringing the total cash discount to P 380,000.

With this exclusive offer, the Ford Explorer 3.5L Sport variant is now available at the same retail price of the 2.3L EcoBoost variant.

The P 380,000 cash discount for the Ford Explorer 3.5L Sport is available for twelve (12) days only, starting December 12 until December 23, 2019.

The Ford Explorer 3.5L Sport is powered by the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine with 370 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque. It has 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with painted pockets, dual DVD headrest, and the unique Explorer hood badge. The Ford EcoSport Now Comes with a P 130,000 Discount

Ford Philippines opens the final quarter of 2019 with the biggest cash discount ever for the Ford EcoSport which sees its price drop to just P 840,000 only this October.

This month, the EcoSport 1.5-liter Trend AT or MT variant comes with a cash discount of P 130,000 or is available at 0 percent interest rate for up to 36 months. For cash buyers, this brings the price of the Trend MT to just P 840,000, while the Trend AT is now just P 900,000.

The Ford Ranger 2.2-liter XLT 4x2 MT is still available with a P 55,000 cash discount or an all-in low down payment offer of P 68,000. While customers purchasing the Explorer 2.3-liter EcoBoost Limited variant or Explorer 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost Sport AWD AT can still avail of a P 100,000 cash discount.

Get the Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 for Just P 1.121M This Month

Different month, same promo greet would-be buyers of the Ford Ranger, EcoSport, and Everest. Continuing their “Big Deal” promo, Ford Philippines’s big three come with straight cash discounts or all-in low downpayment options.

While previous months focused on the Wildtrak models, this month, Ford is offering a straight P 55,000 discount on the Ranger 2.2 XLT 4x2 or an all-in low downpayment of just P 68,000.

On the other hand, EcoSport buyers get even lower all-in low downpayment options. For instance, the EcoSport 1.5 Ambiente or Trend can be yours for just a P 48,000 downpayment. If you prefer cash, the 1.5 Ambiente MT comes with a P 45,000 discount this month.

Finally, the Explorer SUVs are still available with a P 100,000 cash discount for both the 2.3 EcoBoost Limited and the 3.5 V6 EcoBoost Sport.

Ford Philippines Just Doubled the Discount on the Explorer SUV

Ford Philippines is extending its Truck Month and Big Deal offers until the end of August. While the main attraction remains the Ranger pickup truck, the biggest savings can be had with the Explorer SUV.

Ford’s premium mid-sized SUV comes with double the cash discount this month or P 200,000 for both the Explorer 2.3 EcoBoost Limited and 3.5 V6 EcoBoost Sport. Those who want to go the financing route can get the 2.3 EcoBoost Limited with zero percent interest for two years.

Buyers who want to get the EcoSport meanwhile can take advantage of a bigger cash discount this month of P 70,000 or an all-in low downpayment of P 48,000 for the 1.5 Trend MT or AT; while the Ambiente MT comes with a P 45,000 cash discount or the same all-in low downpayment offer of P 48,000.

For the Ranger, the XLT variants are offered with a P 70,000 cash discount or an all-in low downpayment offer of P 68,000.

Meanwhile, all Ranger Wildtrak variants are offered with a P 60,000 cash discount, or an all-in low downpayment offer of P 98,000 for the Wildtrak 4x2 or an all-in low downpayment offer of P 128,000 for the Wildtrak 4x4.

Further sweetening the deal for the Ranger, customers who test drive will get Ford merchandise, while those who opt for East West Bank for their financing requirements will get an additional P 20,000 financing discount on top of any existing deals.

These offers are valid only until August 31, 2019.

UPDATED: Ford Recalling 1.2 Million Explorers for Diminished Steering Control

UPDATE: This article is updated with an official statement from Ford Philippines (6/16).

Ford is recalling 1.2 million Explorer SUVs from 2011 to 2017 model years because of an issue that diminishes steering control. In turn, this makes them hard to steer and increases the risk of a crash.

Ford says that Explorer SUVs that are exposed to frequent full rear suspension articulation (jounce and rebound) may experience a fractured rear suspension toe link. One customer reported hitting a curb when the toe link broke. Ford is not aware of any reports of injury related to this condition.

To correct this, Ford will remove and replace both left- and right-hand rear suspension toe links with new forged ones and will also align the rear suspension. The recall affects units built at its Chicago Assembly Plant from May 17, 2010 to January 25, 2017.

Though the recall currently only affects North American models (U.S., Canada, and Mexico), we have reached out to Ford Philippines to find out if Philippine models (also assembled in the Chicago Assembly Plant) are affected. This article will be updated.

Ford Philippines Continues Deals on Everest, Ranger, EcoSport, and Ranger This May 2019

Ford Philippines is continuing special deals for the Everest, Ranger, EcoSport, and Ranger this May.

A cash discount of P 190,000 is available to customers purchasing the Everest 2.2L Ambiente 4x2 on automatic or manual transmission variants. Meanwhile, customers can still avail of the Everest 2.2L Titanium+ 4x2 AT variant at zero percent interest up to 4 years or savings of up to P 368,000.

Ford has also enhanced special deals for the Ranger, where a cash discount of P 45,000 are extended to customers purchasing the Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4x2, Ranger 2.2L XLT 4x2, or Ranger 2.2L XLS 4x4 or 4x2 variants. The Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4x4 AT variant is still available with a cash discount of P 60,000.

For financing customers, all-in low down payment offers are also available for the Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4x4 AT variant at P 128,000, the Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4x2 AT variant at P 118,000 and the Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4x2 MT at P 109,000.

Finally, those purchasing the new EcoSport 1.5L Ambiente MT can still avail of all-in down payment offer of P 58,000 or up to P 45,000 cash discount while customers getting the new Explorer can still avail of a P 100,000 discount.
