Mazda Gives Us a Glimpse of the 2020 CX-30's Original Equipment Body Kit
Mazda it seems is the king of subtle body kits. Just as they’ve shown a very subdued body kit for their Mazda3 compact car last year, they’re doing the same thing only this time for the Mazda3’s crossover sibling, the CX-30.
Part of their Tokyo Auto Salon 2020 line-up alongside the motorsports-inspired Mazda3, MX-5, and CX-5, the CX-30 now gets its very own “Signature Style.” And as far as body kits go, it’s actually quite hard to miss unless you happen to put it side-by-side with the showroom CX-30.
According to Mazda, the Signature Style is aimed to challenge both Mazda’s design philosophy while offering customers a way to express their personality.
Anyhow, the CX-30 Signature Style adds under garnishes for the front, side, and rear (complete with a chrome highlight), a rear roof spoiler done in body color, and black side mirrors. It also sports special 18-inch wheels with a two-tone finish.
Now, while the Signature Style will be available straight from Mazda Japan showrooms next year, for its public debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon, Mazda is adding BBS forged wheels, a height adjustable suspension, an Autoexe stainless steel muffler, and a Thule bike rack among other stuff—you know to make it more showy.
